Easter

I went a little overboard with filling eggs. The kids' baskets were overflowing.
We also went to the city Easter hunt where the girls got another basket full! The boys didn't get as many because they were too busy looking for the golden egg.
It was at the park right by Lake Apopka - you can see the lake in the background. If we were back in Utah, the girls would have gotten 3 or 4 eggs because there are so many kids there.
These are the kids Easter outfits. I had a hard time finding the girls a dress with sleeves so I had to resort to skirts and shirts. You wouldn't know it from the picture, but Summer had been crying seconds earlier about her hair and Kendall about his tie. Kendall hates to wear a tie - oh and he also complained that his shirt was too stiff. He is so sensitive.
Sunday evening we decided to take a walk around the temple grounds. It's only 15-20 minutes away. Yes Max was there, but stuck in the stroller as always.

Weddings

This is my oldest brother Todd and his new wife Joy. We both had a brother get married in March. Congratulations!

Got Teeth?

Oh Happy Day! The teeth are finally coming in. Taylor's second front tooth has emerged and will be strolling through nicely. He and Kendall are having a race to see who gets their front teeth first. Max and Shelby are floor buddies. Max has just started getting on his hands and knees. I was taking a picture of it when Shelby butted in and got right in the picture. When I'm talking baby talk to Max, Shelby thinks I'm talking to her. I guess she'll always be the baby since Max has surpassed her in weight.

I can't resist taking pictures of my little Max.
It has been the most glorious weather here. I don't mean to brag, but it was about 68 and sunny. We took a walk yesterday down to the lake park and today went to another park close by to play on the jungle gym. Because you really don't get a true fall here, the leaves are falling off and new ones coming at the same time. You get the smell of fallen leaves yet the new smells of spring. The aroma is so strange and wonderful at the same time.

Baseball & Fieldtrip

My boys are playing little league and look so good in their uniforms. Taylor pitched in last nights game - so fun to watch that! Kendall played 2nd base and had so much fun.
The fieldtrips here are quite extraordinary. Amy went to Universal Studios for her fieldtrip. Taylor is going there as well and Kendall is going to Seaworld. I guess those are the perks of living so close to the "parks".

This last weekend we went on a bikeride on the trail - Max actually sat pretty good in the buggy :) Afterward my leg was hurting and progressively getting worse. By Sunday night I couldn't even walk. I must have strained a muscle in my groin. It was feeling much better by yesterday though - what a relief. You sure do take your health for granted until something little goes wrong.

Movie Review- I bought "Becoming Jane". It's a movie about Jane Austen's real romance and how it inspired her stories. I liked it very much. 4 1/2 stars
