The kitchen, eating area, and master bath were painted this green color. I love this one the best.
My dining room is painted two tones of gold. 
My bedroom is painted a nice beige, but Dale wanted a pop of color on the ceiling. He is in love with it, but I'm still not too certain about it. Keep in mind that I took these pictures at night with the flash so it's a little off.
Dale chaperoned Taylor's field trip to Universal Studios today. Do you see how big some of these kids are? I can't believe they are only in 5th grade. Dale said the lines were only 5 minutes and the weather was in the 70's - PERFECT! 
This is Taylor's friend at school. Yes it's a boy. He always picks the friends with the longer hair. He says he just picks them because they're nice - so that's good. They had a really fun day.
These are the Chinese visitors, Yu & Sofia, that Dale's sister sent down to stay with us for a week. They wanted to see everything and were so excited. But then they went to the beach all day without sunscreen and were burnt to a crisp. So burned that they didn't use two of their Disney passes and one of their space center passes. One morning Taylor came into my room to report that they were heating the Fruity Pebbles in the microwave. The next day I made them eat oatmeal. They must have liked it because that's all I could get them to eat for the next few days. Are they as wary about our food as we are about theirs?
Max is so sweet when he is sleeping. Don't you want to just plant a kiss on that luscious mouth?
On the other hand, when he eats, he likes to put his hand to his mouth right when the food is going in and then smear it all over himself. He looks so much like my brother Shane in this picture.
Our boys got 8th and 9th place in the pinewood derby. Scott put Kendall's wheels on while he was here and assured Kendall he would get first place. I really think Kendall believed him. He was almost in shock when the other cars beat his. We were up against some stiff competition though with a rocket scientists car being the winner. Better luck next time Kendall.
After the pinewood derby we headed to the little downtown Winter Garden for a flower festival. Summer was sniffing some flowers - a little too closely. She had pollen stuck to her face. We were laughing so hard that her feelings were hurt as seen in this picture. Five Things on my to-do list today:

Our fun friends the Hendricks came to visit us from Las Vegas during spring break. We went to Disney World for 3 days, went to the beach, and of course Jen and I sneaked off to the outlets one day. It was so much fun to see them. We call them Uncle Scott and Aunt Jen so the kids think they have extra cousins too. 
It was a beautiful day at EPCOT. We saw lost of things and learned a lot at this park. I still didn't make it all the way around the world showcase so we will be coming back soon. We learned how to manipulate the fast past system though by utilizing the rider switch passes.
The kids loved riding Soarin' the best. 
Kendall and Scottie were best buddies. Actually all the kids got along really well. You couldn't miss us with our 8 blond kids. I think people probably thought we were related. In fact, we were leaving Magic Kingdom during the parade and Amy got disconnected from us. We were in a panic! I sent Jen to the baby care center to see if someone had turned her in and luckily someone had notified security of a lost child. Jen went to the store where Amy was and the clerk said, "That looks like your mom" and of course Amy ran to her crying. Where was I? Waiting with the rest of the kids - I know I feel a little guilty I wasn't the one to rescue her.
They have a cool character greeting area where you wait in one line and see 5 different characters. Don't the Hendricks look cute. You wold never know Jen is 17 weeks pregnant - lucky girl. She can wear regular pants and shirts - actually she bought herself a pair of maternity shorts at the outlets and thought they were very comfortable. This is her 4th child? How can you do this? Those are the benefits of being taller. 
Okay - now you can see why my pants split at this park last time. Those 20 pounds are coming off!!! Next time you see a picture of me on this blog, I will be thinner. 
It was a windy day at the beach, but we all had fun and lots of sun.
Max is getting harder to take to the beach because he actually wants to get down and see what's around. He had sand everywhere.
The kids had fun digging a hole and building sand castles.

It was another hot day so the kids played in Ariel's grotto in the water then decided they wanted to see Ariel too. Ariel just got done asking Taylor if he wanted a kiss - see the look on his face? He was also a little concerned that she was showing so much skin.

Riding Pirates - the kids were having a blast! They had just gone on Splash Mountain and Rocky Mountain Railroad twice each.
Amy lost her first tooth today at Animal Kingdom. It was our first day at Disney with the Hendricks.
The safari was cool despite it being a very warm day.
The kids were all bawling after riding dinosaur, but loved the roller coaster in dinoland. I rode Mt. Everest at the end of the day and was super sick afterwards. I won't be doing that again. We all got soaked on the river rapids.
Scott and Scottie fell asleep waiting for the Nemo show to start.
