More Easter Fun

Don't the kids look darling in their Easter outfits?
The Easter Bunny came by to leave some fun things.

I think the hair monster came by too.

We had our own Easter hunt in the yard - Max was a pro.

The Ward 5K

Our ward does a 5k twice a year concentrating on the youth to participate. Taylor ran in little more than 25 minutes and came in 5th overall.




This is the only other young man to beat him, the others were men - Dale being one of them. He was pooped.

Kendall ran in about 27 minutes - Way to go!

I came in at 33.5 minutes.

Summer and Amy helped pass out water.

Max went along for the ride.

Spring Break

The kids are back in school from having a week off for spring break. First we went to Lake Louisa State Park in Clermont (close). There was a big sandy beach that the kids played on.

There were hiking trails too.

We also went to the beach in Cocoa (a little over an hour away). As I was sitting there on the beach and some of the kids were playing in the waves, I noticed a fin poke up from the water and saw a huge shadow. Holy cow it was a huge shark right at the shoreline. I jumped up and all the kids scrambled out of the water. I have to say it was pretty cool to see a shark like that, but very scary to think that we are swimming with them. It was probably 7 feet long and pretty big around.

Taylor also got an air soft gun (early birthday present) and had a fun war with some of the boys in the ward. We also checked out the Disney miniature golf (thanks Steph).

Sometimes the kids just want to go to the park and play and climb trees.

Then after all that fun, we got to sit around all weekend and watch conference :)
