Summer Fun

So we broke down and got a video gaming system - the Wii. These buggers are hard to find! Finally I just ordered it online at Toys R Us. Apparently if you want to buy one in the store, you have to stalk the ads and then be there first thing Sunday morning - that just wasn't going to work for us. The kids have enjoyed it immensely and I have to say, the sports games are pretty cool. Now if I can only find a Wii fit for me.
It was the first day of Summer so you know what that means - Summer's birthday. She turned five. She wanted to go bowling for her birthday because she likes to play it on the Wii. Little did she (and Amy) know how heavy the ball would be and that it is much different than a video game. We had fun though.

How Fun! We love our Wii! The Sports Games really are fun. Sometimes after the children go to bed, Brian and I will play each other, and that's when it really gets fun! :) Happy Birthday Summer! My niece's birthday is also on the first day of Summer, and that is also her middle name...a fun tribute! :)

Ok G & G have a Wii and when we move it, it is going to be a sad day. Jared was just playing the tank game (like a version from childhood) last night. And I have pulled muscles I never knew I had bowling on that thing. It really is a fun gaming system for the whole family. I like how it tells you your age for playing different games. Have you seen that? I am so glad it is the 1st day of Summer because now the days get shorter. These bright mornings kill me.

Please tell Summer Happy Birthday from the girls! I can't believe it's been a year since they did Build A Bear. :)

Happy Birthday Summer! She looks so much bigger. I put my pumpkin on the edge so that it can grow over the side... but we will see. It is more of an experiment this year to see what to do. I have never actually had a garden :)

Ha! Summer is so cute holding that big bowling ball.

Okay we are soooo not video game people but the Wii IS pretty cool. I just like that it gets ya moving and you can play with lots of people. You'll all love it.

You have the best music on your blog!
