They finally got on the ride and didn't get an end - they were all a little bummed. The nice thing about having passes to a park is there's no pressure to do everything. We just went for a couple of hours and then went home. 
The sun did some funky things to our faces.
We decided to attend the rodeo held at the church ranch with some friends. I was thinking it would be pretty amateur, but was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. Amy honestly thought she would be the one to catch the pig and when about 100 kids piled into the arena and she couldn't catch the pig, she was sorely disappointed. Next year we'll have to sign the kids up for muttin' bustin'.
I took a trip to West Palm Beach with some girl friends for a weekend and we shopped until we dropped. We also pampered ourselves a bit with pedicures, facials, and hair cuts. This is a couple of them getting their pedicure. 
Taylor has been playing flag football and I have to say that it is very fun to watch.
It's baseball season for Kendall, but as you can see, he'll be out for 6 weeks with a broken arm. He was riding the Ripstick with his cleats on and fell off - OW! The Ripstick is banned until sports are over. 
It's strawberry season here and Amy went picking with Grandma Edie. We've been up to our eyeballs making jam, tarts, and just eating strawberries. They are the sweetest yummiest strawberries I have ever had though. All the kids have had the yucky flu bug going around - the one with the cough, fever, headache . . . .
At least someone can relax around here. 
Our friends, the Tuttles came to Florida for vacation and we got to go to SeaWorld with them. It was fun to see them.
There was no line so the kids rode Journey to Atlantis at least 8 times. 
Wow, my husband is now on the down hill to 40. He's such a super guy. He is so good to play with the kids and to help me out with them when they misbehave. He does the dinner dishes almost every night and takes care of everything outdoors - cars, lawn, garage . . . Dale works really hard to support our family so I can stay home - I'm so grateful for that. Dale gets along well with people - in fact sometimes I feel like to have to pry him away from a gathering because he's so busy talking to different people. The thing I love the most about Dale is that he is constantly trying to do what is right. He's very conscious of things that could pose a threat to the spirit in our home. I'm so glad I get to be with him forever. 
Taylor is now ranked FIRST CLASS thanks to his awesome scout leader. He has a super fun group of boys his age. 
We have a lousy backyard for playing in, but we have a great hill just 2 houses down that the kids love to sled and snowboard down. Well not snowboard, but grassboard. 
There's a fun big oak tree too that the boys like to climb.
