Getting Warmer

The weather has been getting warmer - into the 90's and the swimming water is nice. A family in our ward that lives close by has a fun pool. They invited us over to swim last night for FHE. They also had a Cinco de Mayo party which was very fun.
This is "Grandma Edie". She is so good to Max. She takes him at church for me which is such a help. This is Max's first time swimming. He loved it.

I bought a bunch of jewelry recently so I told Dale not to buy me a Mother's day gift. It's just easier that way. Then I get what I want and Dale doesn't have to worry about it. This has become a bad habit though because secretly I do want a little surprise from him. Well he gave me a big surprise - a new camera! (Thanks honey) I need to learn to use all the features, but hopefully we'll start to have some crisper pictures on the blog.

Sunday we put Shelby out to go potty before church and oops - left her out there. She pretended she was an escape artist and got out of the fence and was trotting down the street when our next door neighbor (who has a cute little boy doggie that is in love with Shelby) found her. She kept ahold of her for us all afternoon - Thanks Audrey for saving Shelby.

We missed you this year on Cinco De Mayo...but, it sounds like you had a great day! Yeah! ...a new camera! I love surprises like that :) I don't think Tulla would have been so easy to contain like Shelby...good thing you have such nice neighbors!

Yay, a new camera, way to go, Dale! What kind is it? I'm still figuring out my camera, so good luck! And no kidding on tile counters, they stink!! They are so hard to clean and still don't look that clean when you do!!

Swimming is the last thing on the brain here! I today it is raining but on Friday we will be well into the 80's. Crazy, like a 15 degree jump! Looking forward to your new pics with the camera.

Annelyse wanted me to tell you to tell Taylor and Amy Happy Birthday! They loved the princess photos. We did that same lunch at Ariel's Grotto in Disneyland. Miss you guys much!

Little Max is so cute. I can't believe I have never seen him in person. We have spent a lot of time at the pool lately too. It is getting super toasty here in PR.
